Purpose:
The Allied Partner Summit meeting is an exclusive event! The purpose of the meeting is to share information, ideas and goals to build our Brand and discuss issues and initiatives that are pertinent to this group.  Along with the business discussions and presentations, we network and have fun with social activities and a golf tournament!

 

Attendance

This event is an invitation only event designed for DFA Allied Partner Suppliers*, the DFA Board of Directors, DFA "special guest" Franchisees and select Denny’s Inc. members. The invitation is extended to two company representatives per company membership.

 

Additional guests are only permitted upon prior approval from the DFA Special Events Committee and will be charged a registration fee of $500 per person. For more information or inquiries on bringing an additional guest, please e-mail info@dennys.org

 

Golfers

Plan to arrive on Tuesday, May 1. A Golfer Reception is planned for the evening.

 

Non-Golfers

We suggest you arrive on Wednesday, May 2. For the evening we have arranged a casual networking reception.

 

Showcase Presenters

Presentations for the Supplier Showcase will take place during the day. There is a reception and dinner program along with a fun networking activity in the evening.

Golf Tournament - The Champions Course:

La Costa recently completed a major re-design of its famed Dick-Wilson designed courses.  You'll be greeted by the all new Champions Course (previously the North Course). More definition and contrast has been added to the course with native grasses, colorful landscaping, tee boxes, landscaping bridges, fairways and greens, wetlands and rerouted paths.

When You Arrive at La Costa:

Immediately upon your arrival to La Costa, please proceed to the hotel's front desk to check into your room. You will then proceed to The Carnation Room located by the Costal Events Center Entrance for the Allied Partner Summit Registration desk to pick up your informational packet.

 

Fee:

There is no registration or golf round fee to attend the DFA AP Summit! We have secured a a special room room rate at $199 per night. The DFA will provide all of your meeting meals, entertainment and the round of golf during the tournament.

 

Golf rentals are at your personal expense with a fee of $100. Payment will be collected at the time of registration.

 

Air Travel:

The San Diego International Airport (SAN) is only 30 miles from La Costa Resort. Please plan on a travel time of up to 50 minutes with traffic. Airlines offered through San Diego for travel are:

Attire:

Please pack accordingly. While Southern California weather is very nice during the spring, it does cool down in the evenings. Please keep in mind that we will be outside for Tuesday and Wednesday's receptions.

Supplier Showcase Presentation:

The DFA has gone "green" and will not be using paper handouts. Instead, all of the Summit Panelists will have your presentation on a flash drive.

 

Your presentation MUST be submitted by e-mail to info@dennys.org no later than Noon (PST) on April 1: Late submissions will not be included!

 

Your showcase schedule will be given to you at the DFA Allied Partners Registration Desk, in The Carnation Room located by Coastal  Events Center Entrance when you check in.

 

You will have 25 minutes exclusive to you and your company to present to the Summit Panel. Your time with the Panel is meant as an introduction of you and or your company, or your time to update of any new company news.

 

Please arrive outside of your assigned room 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. You may bring eight (8) copies of your presentation to hand to the Summit Panel with your information for your actual supplier showcase presentation for them follow along.

 

No audio visual will be provided as this is a round table discussion. Please do not be late to your presentation time.

Food Sampling Presentation:

The Summit Panel is pleased to announce they are offering a special Food Sampling Showcase. The Food Sampling emphasis for this year will be provided at a later date.

 

You will receive information regarding the process for submitting and presenting your Food Sampling from Rachel.

 

All forms for Food Samplers must be filled out with one (1) copy sent to Rachel at rachel@dennys.org as well as one (1) copy to your hotel contact, Kathy Boyd at kboyd@lacosta.com, by Friday, April 13, 2012.

 

Please arrive outside of your assigned room 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. You may bring eight (8) copies of your presentation to hand to the Summit Panel with your information for your actual supplier showcase presentation for them follow along.

Cancellation Policy: Please notify info@dennys.org to cancel your attendance for the Allied Partner Summit. For a full refund on your room deposit, you must cancel your reservation with La Costa 14 days prior  to your arrival date.

 

If you  have already registered and have changes to your application, you do not need to resubmit a new form. Simply e-mail info@dennys.org with your changes.
