Trade Show Information, Guidelines & Regulations
Location
The Convention will be held at on the Big Island of Hawaii
at the Hilton Waikoloa Village,
69-425 Waikoloa Beach Drive, Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738.
Special Room Rates are being held for Denny's
Franchisee Association Convention participants. (See
the
attendee registration page
and reserve your room EARLY). Rooms will be on a
first-come, first-served basis. We strongly encourage
all exhibitors to stay at the Convention hotel.
The Booths
Booths spaces are draped, carpeted spaces with 10' back
walls and 3' side walls. They come equipped with a
7x44" identification sign, a six-foot draped table with 2
chairs and a wastebasket (see
booth application form). You may request
other furnishings, phone lines, etc. on the
Exhibitor's Kit (posted 2 months prior to show
opening). Booth sharing is not allowed.
Space Allocation
The booth location is determined by early registration,
revenue and DFA value-added programs; and by a point
system - one point is received each year exhibited
and for each additional booth. Complete your
registration early to help ensure a great location!
Applications & Deadlines
This year's Allied Partner booth fee is $4,100.
This year's standard booth fee is $4,400.
To take advantage of the early booth discount fee of $4,000
per booth, reservation forms must be submitted by
Dec. 31, 2010 and payment received by March 31, 2012.
October 8, 2012 is the final cut-off for all applications
.
Traffic Flow
To help ensure a reasonably even traffic flow, DFA
will host hourly raffles throughout the show. Feel
free to hand out promotional items at your booth.
Plan to bring 500 items.
Finances & Refund
See application and deadline section regarding costs.
Refund policy is that a booth cancellation must be
in writing to the association (either e-mail or fax)
60 days prior to the event (September 5, 2012) to
receive a full refund.
Room Reservations
This year's convention will be held at the Hilton
Waikoloa Village, Waikoloa, HI. All attendees must register on the registration page
and your badge must be worn at all business and
social functions.

Attendance
You must purchase at least one booth package in order to
attend the DFA Convention. All exhibitor
applications are subject to approval by the DFA
Convention Committee.
Attendance Convention Signage
The DFA Convention Committee must approve all signage for
the convention. We reserve the right to remove any
signs or banners that are inappropriate or not
approved. We also must approve the placement of
signage whether interior, exterior, vendor trade
show, or golf tournament. The request for approval
of wording and placement of signs may be sent to
info@dennys.org
What Special Events/Session can an Exhibitor/Supplier
attend?
Most sessions and events are open to exhibitors. Please
check the agenda and program to see any exceptions.
Be sure you reserve your evening events when you
complete your attendee badge registration.
Exhibitor/Supplier sales or customer activities during
the convention
Any sales or customer events held pre, post or during the
convention must be approved by the DFA Convention
Committee. This includes hospitality suites, off
site excursions, special receptions, and etcetera.
After approval by the committee they must be ‘before
or after’ the convention hours.
Pre-Convention Supplier Promotional Mailings
The DFA will mail out pre-convention promotion mailings to
our membership for a small fee. If interested,

Golf Tournament Promotional Gifts
The sponsor of the golf tournament, reserve's the right to
the exclusive attention of the golfers on tournament

Welcome Bag- Title, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and
Bronze sponsors only
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Title sponsors
are welcome to contribute a ‘promotional item’ for
the official DFA Convention Bag. (This will be given
out at registration). There will be one bag given
to each registered attendee.
In order to prevent duplications, any promotional item
included in the bag must first be approved by the
Denny’s Franchisee Association’s Convention

Suggested items:

Items need to be received by Oct. 30 and no later
than Nov. 1
Pens, pencils, padfolios, small notebooks, business card
index holder, small first-aid kits, etc.
The DFA is not responsible for the shipping of these items
should they become lost.
